Part 1 – The Ancient Promise

The entire anthology takes place in a fictional universe, divided in different time periods. Each time period has a different main character and a different story to tell, as part of long-running series of historically sequential events.

Follow the journey of a gentle adventurer as he discovers himself, the world and enough challenge to last a lifetime. Otherworldly foes are encroaching on the civilized world, protected by specialized adventurers from all corners of the world.

The Occult Hunters defend their bastions in a dark land overrun by ghouls, collecting ectoplasm to power up their silver-bolt crossbows.

The Arcane Sentinels are the masters of mystic, beam-based magic and wooden armor. Their capital is the magic center of the world, an ironwood fortress of libraries.

Spiritblades are its own class of ethereal swordsmen, possessing the unique ability to expertly sense enemy attacks before they happen.

Breadwrights are able to use giant ovens to bake bread-metal weapons out of special metal dust dough. The quality of bread-metal equipment varies highly. As such, expert Breadwrights are in high demand.

Archomancers are master musicians by trade, wielding versatile luteblades as both weapons and instruments. They seek out ancient songs and melodies, in search of the power to manipulate and activate lost artifacts and elder magic.

Dragon-Fishers are fishermen, first and foremost, only the best promoting to hunt sea dragons. They use superhuman strength, powerful punches and grappling techniques to bring down any enemy.
